In collaboration with SureStart, FutureMakers is MIT RAISE’s 6-week, 100% virtual, FREE summer program designed to inspire and train students from under-resourced school districts across the U.S. and Puerto Rico to create apps with AI that deliver real-world impact in their communities.
How is FutureMakers unique?
- It’s for high school and early college students, working in teams, with mentors that include FutureMakers alumni
- It focuses on responsible AI projects developed by participants to be relevant to their communities and other groups they’re invested in
- Participants get to pursue one of three tracks with their projects — deep learning, mobile app development for AI, and data in action.
